Top 3 boozy pancake recipes!

Did someone say vodka pancakes?!! Yes we did. You can now combine pre-drinking with stuffing your face, ideal.

Please refer to our last blog of How to Be a Pancake PRO for the staple recipe, all of the below are adapted from our original!

Here we go… here’s our 3 amazing boozy pancake recipes!

 Stella...Pancakes!

We’re not just talking about eating pancakes with a Stella we’re talking Stella pancakes!

The method is simple – swap 150ml of your milk for 150 ml of Stella. Mix it in with your pancake mix as normal, the result is a delicious crispy pancake. Top with syrup for sweetness.

Vodka Pancakes

Not for the light hearted (or the light-weights).

Stir up your pancake mix as usual, leaving a tiny bit of milk to the side, this time you’ll need to add 2 teaspoons of sugar, then add a double shot of any vodka, Tesco’s own will do! If you’re feeling adventurous a flavoured vodka would work very well. Once you’re happy with the consistency pop it all in the pan and fry away.

General rule – you can just about swap any spirit for another so if you’re more of a gin drinker then crack on!

PROSECCO PANCAKES

       +

Would you ever say no girls? Fluffy American style prosecco pancakes!

This recipe is a little bit different so make sure you’re paying attention.

You’ll need to swap your plain flour for self-raising, add 2 tablespoons of caster sugar & you’ll need around 2 cubes of melted butter. Mix together all your dry ingredients and then your wet ones, once the butter & eggs have been whisked together pour in your prosecco, not too much – this has to be done by sight, usually around a glass is perfect! We recommend lemon juice and sugar on this one to finish.

No1 TOPPING RECIPE

Vodka syrup – mix 3 shots of vodka with 2 large table spoons of golden syrup and mix until they’re fully combined together. Drizzle on top of any pancake and enjoy! Sometime if we’re feeling adventurous we like to do this with Jägermeister!
