Time to turn up the heat?

Is it really time to turn up the heat?

As the seasons change and the air becomes cooler across the UK, the first thing us Brits reach for in our homes is no longer a thick woolly jumper and a pair of socks. For the majority of us, heating on demand has become a necessity in our busy lives. Even the slightest chill in the air makes us reach for the switch on the thermostat. But why are we so dependent on technology to keep us warm when it costs so much to use? Over the past few years, the price of energy has been a hot topic for debate among the media, energy providers and the consumer. What impact does it really have on your pocket? For our tenants the impact is less than you think.

Condor Properties is one of the few landlords across the UK who hasn’t passed the hike in energy costs onto their tenants, which leaves more cash in your account at the end of the month. However, Condor Properties are mindful of the impact of energy on the environment. To ensure our tenants don’t abuse the usage in their property, we introduced our FAIR USAGE POLICY. In essence, it’s an average energy consumption policy based on the total tenants and the total rooms.

Condor Properties also service and check boilers and night storage heater on a regular basis so they run more efficiently. We are also changing lighting in properties to LED’s to support our green initiatives.
