Get a workout buddy! They’ll help to spur you on and keep you motivated.
- Drink more green tea! Health gurus rave about it!
- Use a cold (icy if you can) bath to relieve aching muscles.
- Use music before & after exercise to help get you in the mood.
- Buy a workout DVD. You can do it in the comfort of your own home.
- If you’re drinking alcohol have a glass of water in between each pint!
- Track your activity. You can get free apps.
- Drink more water! Shoot for 3 litres a day.
- Eat slower! It’ll give you time to feel full & stop you overeating.
- Prepare! Plan your meals in advance to stop bad impulse choices.
- Get a ‘Spiralizer’. It turns vegies into exciting spaghetti shapes!
- Exercise in short bursts. Fit in 10 minutes, 3 times a day.
- Set goals.
- Sleep well. Aim for 7 / 8 hours a night.
- Keep track of progress. Weight, measurements etc.
- Get a skipping rope!
- Do things you enjoy! Walking, sports etc
- Stick with it! Consistency is the key.
