Bills inclusive policy

Included with in your tenancy agreement is a fair and acceptable usage policy. If you exceed the limits, or interim meter readings indicate that the limits will be exceeded at the end of the tenancy, then Condor Properties as the landlord is entitled to levy a supplemental charge to obtain reimbursement for the excess usage.

Please refer to page 13 of your Tenant Guide for tips on how not to exceed your fair usage limit and avoid getting a charge.

Gas and Electricity

The maximum usage allowed per annum is shown below. If your contract duration is less than a year, these figures will apply on a pro-rata basis.

Our average electricity charge per Kwh is 13.14p with an average standing charge of 19p/day.
The average electricity charge for electric only properties (no gas) is 11.39p/kwh.
The average gas charge is 4.2p/kwh with no daily standing charge.

Please note the above prices referred to are based on Nationwide averages and do not include VAT which is charged at 5%.

Water and Sewerage

For metered homes in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Island, the maximum usage allowed for 1 to 5 bed houses is 160 cubic meters of water and 160 cubic meters of sewerage per annum. For each additional bedroom above 5, your allowance increases by 20 cubic meters of water and 20 cubic meters of sewerage per annum.
